本次作文的题目是 ”The Digital Age”，提供的提纲如下：

2.使用数字化产品对人们学习，工作和生活的影响。
下文中大部分句型，词组和单词都来自新概念第三册，括号里的内容是句型和词组的课文出处，单词没有标明出处。
The Digital Age
It’s an accepted fact that the digital age has come. (Lesson30. “In time, it became an accepted fact that the Cox brothers employed a conscientious ghost that...”) The variety of digital products is accumulating steadily. (Lesson38. “They will hardly know which facts to select from the great mass of evidence that steadily accumulates.”) MP3 and MP4 with fancy functions appeal to (Lesson41. “The quiet life of the country has never appealed to me.”) a wide range of people. Cell phones taking a large possession of (Lesson41. “…, they had escaped from the paper bag and had taken complete possession of the hall!”) digital markets are easily available now. Laptops are updating with a tremendous speed. (This expression appears in lesson 25 &43.) On important occasions, Digital cameras and DV can always find their way there. (Lesson15. “Very few of the fifty pence pieces and pound coins I have given him have found their way there.”) Though it’s possible to state there are more and more digital products, it is extremely difficult to list all. (Lesson27. “Though it may be possible to measure the value of material goods in terms of money, it is extremely difficult to estimate the true value of the services ...”)
第一段先扣题中 “digital age”，然后用“…is accumulate steadily.”概括提纲中的“越来越多”，接下来要做的就是举例。第三册第41，47 等课文中都展示了如何列举例子，通常是用并列的结构，一句话一个例子，简洁但不乏高度概括性。段末再强调一下因为种类太多没办法一一列举，紧扣题旨。

They enable us to work in a fast, effective and convenient way. As an essential part of our daily day, they almost have the same importance which food has for us. (Lesson42. “For him, caves have the same peculiar fascination which high mountains have for the climber.”) Just imagine we were deprived of the use of digital products. Needless to say, without them everything would be in a state of chaos. (Lesson60. “Without it, nothing could ever be brought to a conclusion; everything would be in state of chaos.”) It is this excessive dependence that revealed their negative influence. 听力理解中好几道题的成功作答都和对句子的分析有关，其中有些句型是新概念第三册中出现的。12. What do we learn from the conversation?
答案是 “Nancy regrets buying the dress”，
作答根据是 “She said she would never have bought an Italian style dress if she had known Mary had already got such a dress.”
这是在新概念2反复出现并会被反复操练的虚拟语态的句子，在新概念第三册也出现多次，只要理解虚拟语态内涵，即可轻松作答。
13. What is the woman probably going to do first?考试大论坛
答案是 “wash the dishes”，
作答根据是M: “You are not going to do all those dishes before we leave, are you？”
第31和40课都出现 “…before…”的句型，表示做完前一件事后再做后一件事。
除句型外，在几道听力题目中，对解题有决定意义的关键词在新概念第三册中也有出现。
16. What do we learn from the conversation?
答案是 “ There isn’t much business downtown nowadays.”，
作答根据是 “M：Kate, why does the downtown area look deserted now?”
“deserted”一词在第41和48课出现。
20. What was the woman’s original plan when she went to Florence?
关键词 “original” 的副词 “originally” 在第5课单词表里出现。
26. What is the proposal presented by the Community of European Railways?
答案是 “To set up an express train network throughout Europe.”，
作答根据是 “the Community of European Railways presented their proposal for a high speed pan-European train network extending from Sweden to Sicily”，
在第 37课 “The Westhaven Express” 中，“express” 的名词和动词用法都有出现， “a high speed” 和 “express”同义。
34. What do sensation-seekers find boring?
答案是 “Doing daily routines.”，
作答根据是 “For them, repeating the same things everyday is boring.”，
第31课有 “routine” 一词，其意和 “repeat the same thing everyday” 完全吻合，据此可以正确作答。
复合式听写中填的词语好多都可以在新概念第三册找到语言点：
第10课的 “float”，第27课的 “occasionally”，第35课的 “guilt”，第27课的 “material”,第50课的 “betray”, 第52课的 “blank”, 第35课的 “complex”。
四、完形填空：
虽然单项选择这一题型已经被取消，但是从完形填空选项的设置不难看出还是有考查词汇积累，形近词近义词辨析，固定搭配等。其中一些选项的语言点是可以在新概念第三册中找到的。
63. 固定搭配 “convince sb. of sth.” 在第1课出现。
65. 动词 “emerge” 在第35课出现。
70. 动词 “pursue” 在第49课出现。
72. 词组 “to his horror” 在第10课出现。
76. 动词 “rush” 在第6课出现。
另外干扰选项中的 “thrust”, “ambitious”, “conscious”, “dash”等单词都在新概念课文中找到。
五、翻译：
该次考试的五道翻译题和新概念第三册的词汇或语法点紧密相连，可以说把该书学好了，在本次考试中翻译得满分是有很大可能性的。
82. But for mobile phones, (我们的通信就不可能如此迅速和方便)。
分析一下题意可以得出考查的是虚拟语态。前半句可以改为 “If there were no mobile phones”
所以后面应该用 “would /could not + v.” 的句型。框架确定下来后往里填上所考查的核心词汇 “communication”, “rapid”, “convenient” 就可以得出译文：“our communication would not be so rapid and convenient.”
第三册中出现多次 “such a + n.” 的结构，所以还可以将主语转换一下，译成：”we could not communicate with others in such a rapid and convenient way.”
83. In handling an embarrassing situation,(没有什么比幽默感更有帮助的了)。模仿第23课 “No creature has received more praise and abuse than the common garden snail.” 句型，结合
第29课的 “sense of humor” 这一词组，可以很轻松写出：“nothing can be more helpful than the sense of humor.”
84. The Foreign Minister said he was resigning, (但他拒绝进一步解释这样做的原因)。解答该题的关键词 “refuse” 在第5课出现， “further” 表示 “进一步” 在第41课出现，综合一下就可以写出答案：“but he refused to explain further why he did it./the reason of doing so.”
另外第三册中出现多处用 “make a/an + n.” 的结构，所以动词explain也可以转换成 “make an explanation”，译成：“but he refused to make a further explanation about doing so.”www.Ｅxamda.CoM考试就到考试大
85. Human behavior is mostly a product of learning, (而动物的行为主要依靠本能)。解答该题的关键词 “rely on” 和 “instinct” 分别出现在第38课和第54课（ “Instinct or Cleverness?” 是标题）,参考译文：“while animal behavior relies mainly on their instinct.”“rely on” 还可以用“depend on”代替。另外，还可以按照前半句的结构得出译文：“while animal behavior is mainly a product of dependence on instinct.”
86. The witness was told that under no circumstances (他都不应该对法庭撒谎)。遇到 “under no circumstances” 等词组提前句子需要倒装，在第5课出现倒装句 “Not only had the poor man been arrested, but he had been sent to prison as well.” 各种倒装情况会在此有个大总结。明确需要倒装后，再结合第35课的 “court” 就不难作出翻译。参考译文：“shall he lie to the court”。
